Nice!

So I thought the above picture was a good way to start any new entry wouldn't you say? I took this picture one weekend and she opted to pose so I said sure... why not? Next thing ya know, it's in a magazine. Oh well... I guess sharing is caring.

Well life has been good. Just got back a few days ago from one of many whirlwind trips to Sunny Southern California to meet up with Da Jackhammer and other cabinet members of Team Tahoe. As you may know, they are the silent ones. But anyways... had our quarterly meeting in Hollywood at the World Famous Hooters. I am still partial to the Anaheim location where our last quarterly meeting took place. I guess the weather had a major effect on my decision also well wait... maybe it was the servers in Hollywood that weren't up to par to their members in Anaheim.

Prior to our luncheon, we took in a special private viewing of Clerks II in the luxurious Arclight Theatre. Be sure and check that place out if you are ever in Hollywood and tell them Johnny T sent ya! Have a Grey Goose and Tonic Double on me..... boy did it hit the spot before the movie.

So Clerks II surpassed my expectations and therefore give it a special 5 count them.... 5 Bloody Chair Shots to the muthafu... shut your mouth... Head! Yes folks it was that great as you may have already seen. Laughing from start to finish. Jay and Silent Bob are once again Gods in this movie and nothing can keep from losing your drink like watching the special scene were Jay is dancing... my eyes still burn to a donkey show... yeah not even in Mexico did it get this sick... WOW! All in all, once kick ass movie and I learned a new word... but I will let Da Jackhammer tell ya that one. All I know is "It's Ok... We're taking it back!"

After the luncheon, decided it was time for me and Da Jackhammer to go toe to toe and once again battle for it all. Yes folks... the Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006 World Championship was on the line. A hard fought battle was had by both individuals and amazingly enough, ended in a draw so therefore yours truly is still the reigning champion... and don't you forget it.

The night was finally topped off with a nice little visit to what I call a local charity. I and my team felt it was time to do our part with the community and give back... therefore we decided to donate a few bills to a special dance company. You gotta keep the kids going to college is what I always say... Well that is all my children... for now that is... More on the CA visit later...

Unique Individuals

Truer words may have never been spoken. Now do I believe that there are unique people who are there in this world that are useful? I certainly hope so. I mean I do look at myself in the morning and often tell myself you personify greatness. You make the world at times a better place. Now there are the doubters and haters that may disagree with that statement and I am fine with that. It's ok. When you live high atop the mountain like I do, you tend to have those others that will go against the grain. That is where the above statement comes into play.

So with that thought, this weekend was great. One step closer to greatness I suppose. And yes there is always room for improvement. Former ties bound by "business" were severed this weekend and finally the proverbial noose around my neck is gone. It almost brings a tear to my eye on so many levels. I strive for greatness every waking day. Some days we do not succeed but you know I gotta say that if you put any effort at all to making some form of difference in someone else's lives however that may possibly be, then you are better than most. I won't lie... there are some days where I don't even try. It can be tiresome.

So as I sit here and watch the final Survivor show from the very first season, nearly 6 years ago, my how time has passed. And yet this episode in particular is somewhat meaningful because while I missed 99% of the entire first season, I did watch this episode as being the first episode of Survivor. Why so significant? Just brings back memories of how so much has changed in those 6 years... some bad... some great. Life is good now...

Lex Luther, Bacon & Clerks II

My children… yes I know I have made you wait a week or so since my last posting and I’m sure that has been extremely hard on you and your psyche. Now much has happened since my last posting and I am here to fill you in.

Let’s start off with Superman Returns. As my partner in crime Da Jackhammer has mentioned previously, he has seen it and gave it 3 ½ out of 4 chair hits. My recommendation for this film is to definitely go see it. My rating – 3 out of 4 chair hits. It is definitely entertaining and if a viewing of this film is called for, be sure to view it on an IMAX 3D screen. This was my first venture into screening a movie in this form and well I was blown away. I may have to add one of these screens to the theatre room on my palatial estate. So back to the movie – I expected more 3D and I would have been completely happy with the entire movie in 3D but I guess when you start putting hundreds of millions of dollars into a film over the course of many years, I can understand why. Decent plot and if not for the great actor Kevin Spacey who I do believe made this film great, it might have only been worthy of two chair hits straight to the head.

Coming out next Friday the 21st… Clerks II. Highly anticipated and I will definitely be sure to be catching this great film on the day of release. Just the previews alone warrant 2 chair hits and I am banking on this film being a 4 banger. We will see… review to be given at a later date.

What’s for dinner? Bacon bitches! Yes had a succulent hamburger last night with 3 savory pieces of thick juicy bacon and a few slices of avocado and a dab of Dave’s BBQ sauce. Man was my tummy happy with its King. Good times…

BTW, kids… your local Jackhammer has been busy moving into his new Palace of Pleasure and therefore has not been able to post but fear not… his absence will be short.
Oh.. one final note… “You, Me and Dupree” I’m sorry but this movie looks extremely stupid. Don’t go and see it. It will lower your IQ.

Ok little Jackhammers of the world, I know it’s a little late but I am about to give my movie review of the recently released “Superman Returns”.
First let’s start with the fact that is has been 19 years since last we’ve seen the Man of Steel on the big screen and 28 years since the original. It has been many comic book geeks and fan boys wet dream to see the character of Superman and his alter ego, Clark Kent back on the silver screen. And Jackhammer is not one to lie, I may have been of those geeks that wet themselves (mind you, a geek who benches 350 pounds in his sleep, bring it BITCH!) when news it the internet that the movie had a script and X-men director Bryan Singer behind the steering wheel of the world greatest super hero’s comeback.
The movie takes place 5 years after the second Superman of the early 1980’s, now you may be asking yourself two questions…Jackhammer, weren’t there 4 Superman movie in the 80’s??? And if so, why didn’t they continue from Superman 4??? Well yes, there were 4 movies but the last 2 were in all words were…..CRAP!!! You know it and I know it. Enough said about that…So as I mention it takes part 5 year after Superman 2 and the movies deals more on how Superman copes with how the world he once knew has changed and moved on without him.
Now that’s as far as I am going to go into the movie cause I’m sure you’ve either seen the movie, read the reviews or some fan boy in your office with a hard-on and a blue towel around their neck, spoiled the whole movie by reacting every scene for you…cause he or she, who am I kidding…HE, has seen the movie 20 times already since last Weds and 18 of those times in 3-D IMAX.
Let me just say that “Superman Returns” is a good movie, if I even dare say it’s just as good if not better then the 1978 “Superman” movie. The cast and Bryan Singer do such a good job from start to finish. Keep it mind there may not be much good guy versus bad guy in this movie, just remember Bryan Singer needed to lay the foundation for the future direction of Superman and the Superman franchise. And I only see good things to come from the newly revived Superman franchise. All I can say is go in head first with no expectations about the movie and you will leave a happy movie goer…
Jackhammer gives “Superman Returns” 3 ½ out of 4 Chair hits to the head!!!!

JACKHAMMER OUUUUT!!!

Did We ALL See This Coming????

As I stated earlier in my post about the trouble RVD and Sabu were in, I stated that RVD would be losing the belt to Edge on the ECW Tuesday show. Well it looks McMahon has put things into motion... Just a few short minutes ago, LIVE on Monday Night Raw, Edge became the NEW WWE Champion.

F*cking ridiculous. I tell ya... not like we didn't see it coming. RVD will probably lose the ECW belt tomorrow on the show. And maybe off the show for a bit of time to either discuss his dismissal from the company or for drug treatment.

Let's take a wait and see approach shall we?
HOLY MARY JANE!!!!! I would agree with my partner/crack news reporter, with the recent drug policy enforced by WWE, RVD might as well kiss his belts good-bye. Which would be a shame because those belts were a long time coming and for them to be taken for something so dumb. FOR SHAME RVD...FOOOOR SHAAAAME!!!!!
Now kiddies let this be a lesson to you...SAY NO TO DOPE!!!! Just do what your brothers Johnny T. and DA Jackhammer do to release the stress... buy yourself a couple bottles of Grey Goose, throw a couple of nice pieces of grade A steak on the grill and make a call to your local pimp to have him or her, send over the new talent so you can "brake" them in....

JACKHAMMER OUUUUUT!!!!!
Sabu, RVD, and Pile o' Drugs

WWE investigating Rob Van Dam and Sabu charges
By Ed Williams III
July 3, 2006
In the wake of being faced with five violations, including drug possession, by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, WWE.com reports that Rob Van Dam and Sabu arrived at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia at 1:30 p.m. today and immediately went into a meeting with Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis.
Following the meeting, Mr. Laurinaitis told WWE.com that Rob Van Dam and Sabu will be eligible to compete tonight on RAW and tomorrow night at ECW on Sci Fi while an ongoing investigation is being conducted by World Wrestling Entertainment. The two men will be appearing in court Thursday morning at Ironton Municipal Court.
According to the Ironton Tribune, Rob Van Dam and Sabu were pulled over on U.S. 52, near Patrick Street in Hanging Rock, Ohio at about 10:15 p.m. Sunday night. The two were apparently driving from their performances at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena earlier in the evening.
According to the Ohio State Police, as reported by the Ironton Tribune, Van Dam was initially stopped for speeding. When troopers approached his vehicle, they smelled marijuana and performed a search. Troopers found RVD in possession of 18 grams of marijuana and five Vicodin, prescription pain pills. Sabu was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and also had nine pills that were not immediately identifiable, but were known to be controlled substances, according to the OSHP. Both were cited and posted bond at the scene.

Yikes kids... looks like the EXTREME duo may be in some trouble. It will be interesting to see how WWE gets through this since these two men are main eventers in ECW not to mention the fact that RVD is the current WWE & ECW champion. Now I noticed they will both be wrestling tonight and tomorrow night. On ECW's show tomorrow, both the ECW and WWE title are up for grabs when RVD takes on Edge. Now if WWE is hell bent on sticking to their drug program, don't be surprised if RVD drops both belts to Edge tomorrow night. What are the odds? What are your two cents Jackhammer and our new anonymous comment maker? I know you both have thoughts.

Good Times and Great Work...

Ya know, it's nice when you can search the web and find a place where your work has been immortalized. Case in point, The Official Home of Sid Haig , well I worked on the website for a few years until the end of 2005. Many good times were had by doing much of the artwork that is found on the website to this day. I recently checked out some of the Chicken Shack Cheerleaders, and with the exception of Beth and Nicole, the rest was done by yours truly.

Now I'm not here to brag or anything like that, just here to say I was checking out what the various girls were up to these days by checking out their various websites. That's when it donned on me that my work is not just immortalized at least for now on Sid Haig's website but it's moved farther out with these various people. I gotta say that it's just great to see that.

I had a great time working on that website for Sid Haig. He's a good man and one hell of an actor kids... Until next time!
